Adidas Golf introduces POWERBAND, a shoe created specifically to address the needs of the modern athlete and engineered for today’s power game. POWERBAND incorporates three sophisticated adidas Golf technologies (Powerband Chassis, Adiprene®+, and the Grip Zone) that unite to help the athlete harness untapped power by promoting better balance, stability, and leverage. The three technologies together are known as the “power trio”.
Powerband Chassis
Delivers extraordinary lateral stability to promote the leverage needed to generate power from the ground up. It limits midsole compression and stabilizes the perimeter of the swing foundation. This helps harness 100% of the power generated by the swing and delivers it to the ball at impact. FitFoam Form-Fitting Cushioning
Molds to the exact contours of each athlete's foot. Located in the footbed, this visco-elastic foam is engineered to evenly distribute weight and pressure for a persoanlized fit.
Lightweight EVA Midsole with adiPRENE Cushioning
adiPRENE manages energy - A highly resilient material that manages energy for improved response in the footbed. This technology's fast, reactive response provides immediate feedbback to promote improved footwork for better weight transfer and balance.
Grip Zone
A footbed surface that locks the bottom of the foot securely in place, turning the foot and shoe into a single solid unit that promotes maximum control.
Durable rubber outsole with Torsion System
A high-traction outsole featuring tapered, kidney-shaped lugs that hold firmly and prevent slippage in all types of grass and conditions while remaining green-friendly.
ClimaProof
ClimaProof delivers 100% waterproof protection. The first layer wicks inside moisture to the shoe's surface, while the second layer surrounds the foot with a waterproof membrane.
