The dual-milled face ensures both a flat face for consistency and forward spin/skid reduction for a true, consistent roll. As I’ve said in some other reviews, I’m a sucker for the 8802-style putters. Obviously, this model’s shape is inspired by that Wilson classic of years past, but features the latest precision milling and a black anti-glare PVD finish. Let me first say that the finish looks amazing. Love it, love it, love it. However they milled the face makes the roll very true and distance-consistent – exactly what you want on the green. From address, the simple, short alignment line is elegant and works just fine. This is a winner!!
