The latest R11 innovation comes in the form of an iron.

Inspired by R11 driver innovation, the new R11 iron is tuned to perfection. Precision CG placements, ultra-thin faces, a tour sole design and Inverted Cone Technology make R11 our most powerful, playable and refined iron ever.

Features:

  • Ultra-thin face thickness promotes faster ball speed and distance.
  • Inverted Cone Technology promotes faster ball speed and distance on off-center hits.
  • Multi-Functional sole increases playability from a variety of lies.
  • Progressive topline thickness promotes confidence at address throughout the set.
  • Advanced groove design promotes increased spin and control.

  • Precision Weighting Port

A weight port permanently positioned in the center of the back of an iron head during assembly, the Precision Weighting Port assures that each R11 iron in the set is of uniform swingweight while also ensuring that the CG location is precisely and optimally positioned in the center of the face between the toe and heel. In the past, clubmakers have installed cartridges of varying weight in the hosel to adjust swingweight, and by doing so have pulled the CG closer to the heel to varying degrees, resulting in a set of irons consistent in swingweight but inconsistent in CG location.

Insider Review -   May 16, 2012

I loved the R11 driver, so I figured I would have the same level of affection for these irons. As it turns out, they were really good but just not right for me. I actually thought they felt tiniest bit thin at impact – yet none of my friends thought the same. Maybe I was just having an off-day. Tried both steel and graphite shafts, too. Don’t get me wrong – they performed like a charm, being powerful, workable, and jaw-dropping great-looking. They certainly have all the right materials, as well, plus the versatile sole, thin clubface, advanced grooves, solid weighting, etc. Funny thing is, I was really hitting the ball well with them. Thousands of golfers will disagree with me on the feel, and that’s okay. But all of us will concur on the wonderful ball-striking results you’ll get from these.
