To be honest, I didn’t think I’d care for this mallet, before I tried it. I’m used to a little bit of offset, and this is a center-shafted model with no offset. Y’know what? I was wrong. I found that I was actually able to see the ball – and my alignment -- just fine using it. I really like the head shaping – it helps you see your stroke path nicely almost like the Odyssey 2-Ball without the two balls. Feel is soft, too. And I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like the white, non-glare head, too. Love the look on the company’s drivers and woods, and it translates nicely to putters. The black face helped me align my putts better. I felt that more of my short putts rolled right at my target, and I’m guessing that’s because of the “PureRoll Surlyn face insert” that’s’ designed to get immediate forward roll on putts. The soft Winn grip is a nice touch, too.
