Similar to the incredibly popular new and companion Rocketballz fairway woods, the Rescues frame the ball well, thanks to the white clubhead and black face. The compact Rescue has a slightly open face at address and is not adjustable. The look, feel and performance are all outstanding. You’ll get the ball up nicely and will milk all the distance out of it that you can hope for. I think the feel is especially nice here, because of the “Speed Pocket” that runs parallel to the clubface, just behind it in the sole. The slot is actually designed to boost distance, but I think it helps feel, too. The Rescue comes in four lofts that essentially are designed to replace your 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-iron. One final note: The CG in this club is low and forward, which seems like it would cause balls to squirt low off the face. But it actually works the opposite way, generating a nice-and-high ball launch with little spin for longer shots.
