Last year’s R11 was my favorite new driver in 2011. So I guess I’m a little biased here. This rendition is even more customizable, and I’m able to further tune in the exact ball flight I want. I thought it was hard to further perfect perfection, but I think TaylorMade did it here. Love the white clubhead/black clubface contrasting look, really like the clubhead shaping and size, and the weighting just feels right. It exudes confidence when you step up to the tee – you just know you’re going to smack the ball down the fairway. And ultimately, that’s all you can hope for in a driver.
