Ping G20 Hybrid

The Ping G20 Hybrid retains the same technology that made the G15 hybrid remarkably easy to launch the ball high and straight. A flatter lie angle and crown improve the appearance for added confidence. Exceptional ground impact was assured by adding bounce and increasing sole camber both front to back and heel to toe and the G20's square setup and a neutral head rotation help bring the clubface straight at impact for shots that find their marks, even from challenging lies.

Designed for controllable distance from any lie on the course, the offset hosel design helps the G20 hybrids create the high launch and low spin that improve your accuracy. A large, internal weight inside the 17-4 stainless steel head provides forgiveness and distance. The G20’s flatter lie angle improves eye appeal while ensuring control and confidence. More bounce and sole camber offer exceptional ground impact and smooth transitions from all conditions. A blended crown design improves optics for easy alignment.

This hybrid kind of sets up like an iron but is easier to hit, like a hybrid should be. For that reason alone, I highly recommend it for golfers who have trouble with their long irons. You’ll get at least the same distance as when you hit the long irons on the screws, but you’ll get it on most of your tries. And who can’t use that kind of reliability? An offset hosel helps you get the ball up quickly, and enhances a draw. There’s also an internal weight for forgiveness and distance. PING also did something cool with this club, flattening the lie angle for a better address look and adding bounce and sole camber for better turf interaction. Overall, this is the complete package that will undoubtedly help most golfers.
