Great driver, great price, and great look

I absolutely love my new VR-S! I went in to the closest store in Orem, UT and had my mind set on the 910 D3. Hit it, the D2, and also the R11 S "tp". I hit the D3 pretty well, average distance was around 280. I just was having a hard time swallowing the $400+ dollars I was gonna have to spend. As I was walking up to buy it, the VR-S caught my eye. Asked the sales associate about it and he said it was pretty hot for the value. Hit it, first shot was 324. Couldn't believe it! The look, feel, and sound was and is amazing! Needless to say, I skipped up to the check out stand and thanked them for the $175 dollar save. And just for the record, I owned the RBZ tour, Ping i20, and the D2 before the Nike. They don't hold a candle to the VR-S 10.5!! In fact, I might just go get the hybrid this week! :)

This adjustable driver is designed to gain you clubhead speed. That's highlighted by the company's NexCOR technology, which essentially means the clubface has multiple thicknesses -- thick in the middle, thinner toward the perimeter -- to help boost ball speed when you nut it. The clubhead's large and the face is deep -- that means more mis-hit accuracy and forgiveness. In other words, it's designed for golfers who may otherwise have trouble off of the tee. Aerodynamics also reduce drag on the clubhead, which helps enhance speed. Feels pretty solid from everywhere on the clubface, and you'll see a nice, long and straight ball flight. Very basic, clean look to it -- which is nice. Some Tour pros are even using it. It sells very competitively, too.
