Gary B. - Don't wast your money!   February 7, 2015

Let me first start this off and say that Edwin Watts Golf did an outstanding job! The shipment was on-time, fast and the customer service was excellent.

I love to play 9 hole courses during my lunch breaks and depending on the course I usually only take 6-9 clubs and a putter with me. When my old bag wore out I bought this one.

If you are OK with a minimalist bag and using it to carry a few clubs to the range or when playing you only carry five or six clubs, a few balls, tees and a glove you will be fine. For me, I have a few items that I always need. The pelican pouch ends up getting everything else. I can carry about 6 balls, my sunglasses case, a small bag of tees and a plastic water bottle in the bottom. The personal pocket is not lined and may be able to fit a phone or a wallet. Pick one. Items get down into the narrow bottom and are very hard to get out. I can jam a light jacket into the long pocket but it's tight. The Velcro glove patch is down by the bottom about six inches or so off the ground and just not very well thought out.

Important section:

Here is the really bad part- The strap system is just awful! It is hard to put on because the straps are so cheap. The thin straps twist, turn and the sliding system often has the clubs facing flat or even slightly downward once you get everything settled in. By then you are at your ball and the saga starts all over again. You have to keep one hand on the bag to stabilize it or else the club head side slowly tilts down as you are walking and clubs start sliding out. After stopping several times for adjustments I just gave up. By the third hole I end up just using one strap.

The top is small and the grips/ shafts jam together in the bottom. My large grip putter requires one section so everything else is jammed into two small sections. I have found that if I remove my 3 wood every time I need the putter or when I am putting it back in I can carry two clubs in that section.

Bottom line- for the price, this bag is just not worth it.

This bag would have been returned but unfortunately the trash came the next day and the box went out with the trash.

I expect I will just have to use it for range practice.
