Insider Review -   August 15, 2012

This is one large mallet. And square-ish. It has a stainless steel body, blue aluminum face insert, and rear perimeter weighting that enhances stability and feel. With three sight lines behind the face extend all the way to the rear, for alignment help. It takes some getting used to, and I’m not sure I personally have the patience to adjust to it from a blade. But for current mallet users, it should be a smooth transition.
